Training and Instruction Quality: A Single Paperless Platform
At the Tech For Industry Show, Azumuta, a Belgian industrial software company based in Ghent, presented its digital work instructions platform for Industry 4.0. In this talk, an Azumuta Account Executive leading the company's expansion into the French market explains how manufacturers can replace paper, PDF, Word, and Excel-based instructions with a web-based, hardware-agnostic SaaS solution, guiding operators step by step on the production line.
The presentation walks through several concrete use cases: faster onboarding for new operators at Atlas Copco, rapid skill-building during a scale-up phase at H Power, autonomous instruction creation for a supplier in the ASML/TSMC semiconductor ecosystem (Sux), managing mass customization and product variants at Toyota, and reducing rework through barcode-based traceability at Naftec Radar.
The talk also covers Azumuta's real-time quality feedback module, GitHub-style version control for instructions, ERP/MES integration, and its new AI module, which translates instructions automatically and generates work instructions directly from video footage (AzumutaLab).
Founded 10 years ago, Azumuta now supports around 100 clients across roughly 30 countries, particularly in high-tech, pharma, chemicals, aerospace, and automotive manufacturing.
