In this talk, Sébastien Delauré, a pre-sales consultant at IFS, presents the European software vendor's approach to industrial artificial intelligence. Rather than treating AI as a bolt-on to the ERP, IFS advocates for AI fully embedded within its manufacturing, service, maintenance, and ERP applications, through its IFS Cloud platform enhanced by IFS.ai.
The talk covers three levels of maturity: around 60 native, out-of-the-box AI use cases (organized around content generation, recommendations, forecasting, optimization, and anomaly detection), pre-configured autonomous AI agents ("digital collaborators") focused mainly on the supply chain (customer and supplier order management, replenishment), and finally bespoke use cases co-built with the client in a matter of weeks, illustrated by accelerators such as Nexus Resolve, Nexus Comply, and Master Data.
