Industrial AI at the Heart of Virtual Twins

How do you move from probabilistic AI to trustworthy industrial AI that combines business knowledge, the laws of physics and shop-floor execution? In this session recorded at the Tech for Industry Show, Morgan Zimmermann (CEO of the 3DEXPERIENCE brand, Dassault Systèmes) and Christophe (DELMIA, manufacturing & supply chain) unveil Industry World Models, announced with NVIDIA. The talk covers: making implicit industrial knowledge explicit and protecting it with IP lifecycle management (who learned what, on which data, with what resulting intellectual property); combining LLMs with the laws of physics — including generating synthetic data to run predictive maintenance on products that don't exist yet; and putting AI "in front of people" with three virtual companions: AURA (business analysis), LEO (design and manufacturing) and MARIE (science). A striking demo: an agentic control tower quantifying in minutes the impact of new tariffs on an automotive supply chain (€3.3 billion) — where a full team would need three weeks. On the shop floor with DELMIA: prompt-generated work instructions (targeting a 10x gain), AI-guided NC machining programming, augmented reality for assembly and quality control, and the 5 steps to build your factory's virtual twin — up to the self-learning autonomous factory with NVIDIA and Omron. Plus a candid exchange on sovereignty: stateless, mutualized AI factories and sovereign LLMs (Mistral, Nemotron) by geography. An industrial AI masterclass for manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and innovation leaders.
